Body and Soul Jazz Band - East Anglia's favourite band
Body and Soul jazz band is based in Suffolk, East Anglia. Its members are all professional musicians; highly experienced through having played in various jazz bands, rock bands, latin bands, funk bands, dance bands, function bands and other groups. They play throughout East Anglia: in Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Anne Burton: piano and vocals                         Anne has played in many groups  and bands over the last 20 years, in widely varying genres: everything from folk groups to big bands.  She has performed at hundreds of venues ranging from a double garage (the smallest!) to stately homes and festivals. She presently also plays keyboards in the modern jazz trio: Weird Rare Animal and the popular function band: The Up & Up. Anne performs as a solo pianist/singer, has released several CD’s and is an accomplished composer, arranger and  lyricist. She also teaches piano and singing.

Myke Clifford: tenor & alto sax, flute & vocals. Myke is a highly experienced performer with decades of experience and thousands of gigs under his belt. He is highly accomplished on the tenor, alto & soprano saxophones and flute as well as being a seasoned vocalist .He has been involved with some highly diverse musical projects and has appeared at venues and festivals, large and small, right across the UK. Myke plays in all styles from jazz & funk to rock. He has played in many jazz and Latin ensembles and is currently the frontman in the highly successful 'The Pink Floyd Dimension" tribute band which regularly tours the UK. Myke can also be found every year on the main stage of the Cambridge folk festive, acting as compere.

Nick Browning: Bass & Vocals Multi-instrumentalist Nick Browning studied music at the City University London and classical guitar at the Guildhall School of Music. He performs and teaches ukulele and guitar as well as bass in a variety of genres. He has had a long and highly varied career . Nick performed at the Brits aftershow party in 2010, played on Joe McElderry's 2011 "Classic" album which reached #2 in the charts and in 2012 played at the Royal Albert Hall with the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. Nick also founded Lutes'N'Ukes - a renaissance/blues fusion ensemble which will be appearing at various international festivals in 2013. He is a frequent performer on the London cabaret scene.

Nick Neale: Drums  & Vocals Nick has been drumming since his early teens, playing rock, pop, ska, funk and more recently - jazz - both live and in the recording studio. Whatever the genre, Nick loves to pull the whole band together into a tight rhythmic groove. He has been performing in successful function bands for many years, supporting headline acts such as the Drifters, Hot Chocolate, and  the real thing.

Bob Dellar: Vocals & percussion Bob`s musical roots are firmly entrenched in London`s rock and blues network, where he has provided vocals and percussion for a number of bands over the years with regular appearances at the Rock Garden, Covent Garden and east London`s Royal Standard. He has a big, powerful, bluesy  voice with plenty of grit and is absolutely full of energy and humour. As well as singing for Body and Soul, he is also currently lead vocalist with the popular rock/pop covers band Itchy Fingers, who regularly gig in the Essex and Suffolk area.
